five minute friday~limit

~Limits~
Do we create our own limits in life?
Do we limit our ourselves with our own self doubt and worry?

Negative comments and worry creep into our minds telling us we could never do that. We will never succeed in our goals. We're not worthy enough!
Is it our own mind or is it the devil creeping into our minds trying to get us not to trust God? It's so hard at times to ignore that voice that tells us we can never reach our goals. The voice telling us that we have reached our limit.
Do we listen to the voice that tells us we are no good? Do we listen to the voice that tells us we unlovable? Do we listen to the voice that says we will fail?
We can but God is always their in the background waiting for us with open arms. He's there urging us on to be the best we can be. We just have to stop ans listen. His soft, calm ways will be there.

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

He gave us so many wonderful gifts, we just need to figure out how to accept these precious gifts and how we are going to use our gifts. With God there are no limits to our love, our life, and happiness.

  1. Such a beautiful reminder! I always set my own limits when it comes to my worth, ability to succeed. Great way to start my weekend, your FMF neighbor.

  2. LOVELY! What a beautiful sentiment! The fact that we're on the same page definitely helps me feel a sense of "readiness" about heading into Lent..... not going it alone among friends and not without God during the season and every day!

LOVE the new blog design. I have not been here in a while and I REALLY like it...just so pretty!

Take care and enjoy the weekend!

  3. Stopping by from FMF - where I'm perched at #76. Really nice take on the prompt, Monique. I am so very thankful that God has my life and my future in His hands. Be blessed this week.
