Good morning, dear friends! Happy New Year!
I hope everyone his having a wonderful Christmas so far. We still have two more wonderful days left in this Christmas season.

I hope everyone has been doing well. I know it has been awhile since I did a Happy Homemaker post. I kept meaning to, but life just kept getting in the way.

So things are finally settling down here. Our house remodeling is almost done. We have a few more projects left to do and of course, the final clean-up. My father in law is officially living with us now, so it's nice to have everyone settled in. My shoulder is still not right. I'm currently working on more physical therapy. We'll see what happens in a month. The cortisone shot helped tremendously with the pain. The doctor is hoping to avoid surgery....which I would like to do to.

Enough of the catching up! Let's get on with Happy Homemaker Monday. I can't believe this is the first post for 2021! Let's all pray this year is better than 2020! Once again, I am joining our beautiful host, Sandra over at A Diary of Stay at Home.

❀❀~The Weather~❀❀

Chilly temps are here. We had out first snowfall before Christmas, but since then it's been just rain. We have lots of cloudy weather in store for us this week and a chance of snow showers later in the week.

Monday~ Cloudy, 41*
Tuesday~ Cloudy, 37*
Wednesday~ Partly Cloudy, 41* The Epiphany
Thursday~ Partly Cloudy, 42*
Friday~ Snow Showers, 34*
Saturday~ Partly Cloudy, 39*
Sunday~ Partly Cloudy, 42*

❀❀~How I'm feeling this morning~❀❀

I'm feeling pretty good this morning. I'm a little chilly, since the fire went out and I need to get it going again. My shoulder feels good. I need to work on my exercises. I really want full use of of my arm back. I have a few sniffles, but nothing to be concerned about. Allergies, I think.

❀❀~What I'm wearing~❀❀

Leggings, a comfy sweater, and my Uggs. I'm all about comfort.

❀❀~What I'm doing right now~❀❀

I'm writing up this post, drinking my 2nd cup of coffee. I'm over seeing the kids lessons, since we started back to school. I have a list of stuff I need to do for all my businesses. I've added a few and changed some till I found what works best for me!

❀❀~ What's on my mind~❀❀

What's not on my mind.  I have a ton of projects I need to finish this week and even more I need to start. I'm praying this year is better than last year.

❀❀~What they kids are up to~❀❀

They are currently working on their school work. They each have a few lessons to catch up on, so we can start the new semester tomorrow. It should be an easy day for them.

Michael needs to start looking at colleges! How did we get here already. Boy, does time fly.

❀❀~What's for breakfast~❀❀

Coffee and a protein shake. I have to take meds for my arm and they bother my stomach if I don't eat. I'm not a big eater at breakfast, so I quickly figured out that a protein shake helps my stomach handle the meds. I also had a clementine.

❀❀~My current reading pile~❀❀

I currently reading two books....

❀❀~What the Kids are Reading~❀❀

For history they are both reading, Killing England: The Brutal Struggle for American Independence by Bill O'Reilly. In the next few days, they will start reading the Copper Sun by Sharon M. Draper

 ❀❀~Music I'm listening to~❀❀

After listening to Christmas music last month, I'm just listening to my music list. The Cranberries, U2, Adele, Lewis Capaldi, and Kenney Chesney.

❀❀~What I'm working on~❀❀

Cleaning and organizing. My sweet hubby got me a Cricut this Christmas and I can't wait to give it a try. Sadly, the school room/craft room became the catchall for everything during the remodeling, so the room is a disaster. I have to purge, clean, and organize before I can do anything. Do any of y'all have a Cicut? Any sites you recommend or projects to complete?

I have my first review for the Schoolhouse Review Crew do this week, so I need to finish it up. I'm hoping to blog a little more this year. I've let it slip the past few months with everything going on. Things have been just too crazy!

I'm scheduling and planning a few parties for my Scentsy business. If you'd like to earn free products, just send me a message, I'd love to help.

❀❀~What new for me~❀❀

Physical therapy is still going on. I have a follow-up appointment with the doctor later this month. I'm currently launching two new companies. I'll be sharing more later.....so stay tuned/

❀❀~Looking around the house~❀❀

Ugh... the house needs a thorough deep cleaning, the laundry had piled up, and we really need to get things back in order. The holidays always seem to bring out the messes.

❀❀~This weeks to do list~❀❀

The usual list....
Laundry, laundry, and more laundry
Head to the library
Collect items being picked up for donation
Take trash to the dump
Clean the bathrooms
Clean the kitchen
Mop the floors
Take down the Christmas decorations after the Baptism of the Lord (January 10th)
