Hello friends!
It's been too long. I know it's been awhile since I've had a product to review. In fact, it feels like forever ago. Today, I'm thrilled to share with you the Download Club membership from My Teaching Library. For this review, we received an annual subscription to My Teaching Library. What an amazing site this is. I can't wait to share all about it.
What is My Teaching Library?
My Teaching Library is an online site that offers homeschooling families and teachers quality educational resources. Back in 2010, a small site was created to help homeschooling families come together and support one another. The site offered affordable yet high quality resources. Over time, the site grew. Lynda Ackert, a 20-year homeschooling veteran, knew she needed to collect these valuable resources. By doing this, the Download Club was created. Over the past 10 years, My Teaching Library has grown and expanded to meet the needs of homeschooling families and teachers to what you see today.

What Did We Think of the Download Club from My Teaching Library?
I was amazed with all the site has to offer. It's an amazing resource for families with children of all ages. Since my kids are both in high school, this was the section that I reviewed the most. Overall the high school levels, 9th-12th, had lesson to offer parents. I felt that families with students in the younger grades had way more resources available to them. The high school level offered the following topics: arts, electives, language arts, math, science, and social studies.
I found all the sections had a wide range of topics. For example, in the language arts topic tab, students will find resources to cover American literature, famous authors, important works of literature, poetry, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling. I discovered quite a few resources to use with the kids in their American literature course and United States history course.
I was thrilled with the biology resources they were available. They'll be an important resource for Therese as she studies human anatomy this year. I found diagrams, anatomy posters and worksheets, videos to use with lessons, flash cards and notebooking pages.
Other science topics I saw were Chemistry, Earth science, Marine science, Natural science, Physical science, and Physics.
The biology section had the most resources.
Overall, I think My Teaching Library is a wonderful resource for parents and teachers, especially if they have students in grades K-grade. I think families with younger students will find a variety of resources they can use. As a family with only high school students, I found the resources a little lacking for this age range. Even with the limited resources offered for the high school level, I would still recommend this site to homeschooling families. The site offers a variety of resources for the annual fee of $45.
