Here we are, and it's already the last Monday of September. So long summer, hello fall! As much as I love the holiday seasons, I am missing the beautiful, sunny days of summer. The leaves are changing colors, and they have started to fall softly to the ground. Some of my flowers have started to die, so the garden is looking a little sad. The mums are still going strong. We had a busy weekend. Michael and Therese both worked on Saturday. I spent the day with the hubby. On Sunday, I went to Mass and then taught my little ones about Adam and Eve. We had a fun class!
So, let's get started with Happy Homemaker Monday with our beautiful hostess, Sandra from Diary of a Stay at Home Mom. Be sure to stop in, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and say hi.
The Weather in My Neck of the Woods~
We've had some cloudy, dreary days here. We did get some much-needed rain, though. The temperatures are getting cooler, and they seem to be staying there. I may need to pull out my winter clothes. It's going to get down to 45 one night this week!

As I Look Out My Window~
It's still dark as I type up this post, so there isn't much to see yet. It's supposed to be cloudy today, so I'll be missing the sunshine.
Thinking and Pondering~
To be honest, my mind is all over the place. I'm still trying to understand all that has been going on in the world today. I started my Bible study last week, and it is so relevant to what we are going through right now. I feel like God knew we needed to read Colossians to deal with what we are facing day in and day out. I'm hoping this helps heal my heart and gives me the strength that I need. I know he is here with me. I just need to rely on Him more.
How I'm Feeling~
I've gotten back into eating healthy again. I always feel so much better when I'm putting good food into my body. My plan this week is to get back into walking. Ruby needs some exercise (and so do I). I'm just hoping the rain holds off so we can hike through he neighborhood.

What's for Breakfast~
I started out with coffee with brown sugar oat creamer and collagen. I ate 2 eggs with cheese on a gluten-free English muffin. The gluten-free English muffins from Trader Joe's are the best.
Looking Around the House~
I need to take off the couch covers and wash them. I wanted to do them last week, but with the cloudy skies and rain, I couldn't hang them out to dry.

What I am Sewing, Quilting, and Creating~
I reworked an old wreath that wasn't looking too hot. I want it a little fuller, but I need to head to the store to get more flowers.
I started a fall table runner. It's a free pattern I found online. I need to get some Christmas fabric for another table runner I want to make.
My Simple Pleasures~
Cooler temps mean cozy blankets and warm cups of tea. I love curling up on the couch and reading a good book while sipping a cup of English breakfast tea.

Inspirational Quote/Bible Verse/Faith~
"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus, the Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught abounding in thanksgiving."
