Let's welcome 2025 with a happy heart and an open mind. Every year, the new year gives us a chance to begin new and start a new path. It's a rebirth. We can say goodbye to our old ways and say hello to bigger and better things.
This year, I plan to focus on getting healthier physically, emotionally, and spiritually! I honestly hate the term New Year's resolution. It seems too often we start them and then the excitement fades slowly away. This year, I don't want to start it and have it quickly fizzle out. I'm looking at long-term goals! I want to achieve my goals!
Here are my goals for the new year...
Health~
Walk at least 30 minutes a day
Lift weights 3 times a week
Yoga 2 times a week
Improve my gut health
Eat more fruits and vegetables
Cut down on my sugar intake
Lose weight and gain more muscles
Lose 20 pounds
Personal Growth~
Learn a new hobby (knitting)
Read more books
Learn to manage my stress levels
Be more grateful
Start keeping track of 1000 Gifts
Set daily goals
Spiritual Growth~
Read the Bible daily
Pray the rosary 3 times a week
Work through my Bible studies
Read 10 faith-based books
Realtionships~
Spend more time with friends and family
Communicate more with family
Branch out and meet new people
Appreciate the people I have in my life
Around the House~
Organize and Purge
Plan out weekly meal plans
Follow the Fly Lady cleaning plan
My Carreer~
Grow my Scentsy business
I'm hoping that by setting specific and achievable goals, I will be able to keep my New Year's resolutions. I know if I start slow, and stay steady and consistent, I will be able to change my life for the better.
