Over the past few months, we have been working on a kitchen remodel. That's why it's been a little quite around here. We are in the final stretch with the kitchen. I'm so excited. My dear hubby has done all the work himself (with the help of Michael). They've done an amazing job. We've completely gutted the entire kitchen. Before we had the standard builders 1980's kitchen. Now I have a beautiful french country inspired kitchen. New cabinets, new appliances, and new counter tops. The works! We even changed the layout of the kitchen. It seems so much bigger. I love it! Once it's completely done, I share some before and after pictures.
So now that we are in the final stretch, it's time for some new decorations. Here are some of the things I've been eyeing!
A bright red canister to hold all those utensils.
A bronze soap dispenser.
A two-tiered basket. Either for fruit or I'm thinking for out K-cup pods.
A new red teapot. I love tea!
Luckily the curtains, we had before work fantastically well with the new kitchen. They are a cream, green, and burgundy plaid. So we get to save a little bit of money.
We now have more cabinets and more space. I love this utensil organizer. It will definitely help us keep things organized. Our biggest problem is we now have to remember where everything is.
I just can't decided on the canister set I want. I really like all of them .
Classic and simple.
I love the rooster on these, but the colors are just not right.
So I have two other rooster sets, I like. I just can't decided which on I like better. This rooster looks like our rooster, Colonel Drumstick
But I love the look of this these. I have a feeling this will be my last purchase since I just can't decide.
Which one do you like?

I did find a few pictures at our local Hobby Lobby that I loved.
We now have a kitchen island/bar, so we've been looking at stools. Here our few ideas I found I liked. Simple to fancy.
This is what we settled on....
a green wooden modern farmhouse inspired stool.
