Happy Monday! Good morning to you all.
Outside my window......
Gray skies and cool temps. It's currently only 52 degrees outside. It's almost sweater and boots season!!!
What I am reading.....
A Little Way of Homeschooling by Suzie Andres and The Farmer's Wife 1930s Sampler Quilt.
On T.V.....
Well, we are waiting to see Pope Francis of course. Since he's coming to our area of the world, I'm sure the coverage should be great. Hopefully we can see him say Mass on T.V. since we can't be their in person.
What I am creating.....
I have my hand son quite a few projects. A table runner, skirts, new curtains for the back door, and I am joining in on the 1930's farmers wife sampler quilt ( that is if I ever decide on fabric).
On our to do list.....
Monday~ head to the library
Tuesday.... hopefully noon Mass, science co-op class for the kiddos(2 free hours for mama)
Wednesday....play rehearsal
Thursday.... nothing!
Friday....St. Zita's Home Ec. class for Therese
What's on the menu......
I have no idea. I need to sit down and work on that today!
I have a few requests bacon wrapped pork and honey mustard chicken.
Lesson learned or reminded of in the last few days.....
Life is short. A homeschool acquaintance of mine lost her 22 year old son. Too often, we get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We take too many things for granted. We worry about all the stuff that isn't important...laundry, a clean house, running her and there. We stress over stuff that really won't matter in the end. I realized that nothing is guaranteed. Hug your babies more. Look at each day as a gift from God. We don't know when we might lose someone we love dearly.
Quote to live by.....
I'm sorry to hear about the sad loss your friend is currently going through. I agree...I'm trying to worry less, pray more, and take advantage of each day. Hope you had a great week!
