Do you like to have a variety of materials available to you at your disposal? I know I do. Over the years, I have changed from book curricula, to Classical, to Charlotte Mason style, etc. I now think I am more an Eclectic homeschooler. I like to use a variety of materials. One resource that I have loved for awhile now is
Super Teacher Worksheets! I love the crisp, clean worksheets that they have to offer. Over the past few years, I have used the free worksheets they offer and have always hemmed and hawed about buying the membership. I jumped at the chance to review their
Individual Membership when the Schoolhouse Review Crew offered. It is definitely worth it to join!

They also offer themed worksheets for the holiday and seasons.....like Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, spring, summer, fall, and winter.
They have fun games to do with your students, like scavenger hunts. My kids love these! We did the bird scavenger hunt a few years ago. I printed out the Colonial America scavenger hunt for this year as a refresher for what we studied last year. It was a fun way for the kids to get outside, learn, and recall information they learned the previous year.
They have wonderful puzzles and brain teasers to challenge young one's minds. My son LOVES brain teasers. Give him a crossword puzzle or a word search and he is thrilled. They will keep him busy for hours! Therese is not thrilled with either on.
One of the games we did was Lost in USA!, since we are going through the states. Clues are given and the kids had to guess what state Penelope Peabody is in! We have used tons of the geography worksheets. They have worksheets where students can match up the states with their capitals, map worksheets where they have to label the states, state abbreviations worksheets, fun facts, and even a few pages that have fun riddles.
For science, we used a few of the plant worksheets I found in their science section.
They went along perfectly with the science curriculum we were already using. The worksheets helped reinforce what the kids were learning. They were a great way to see if they kids were listening to me when we talked about various plants and leaves.
The nice thing about the worksheets is that they have an estimated age range listed under them. You know immediately if the worksheet is right for you children's ages or grade levels. We have used a few of the younger sheets just so they can get the basics of a topic we are covering. The worksheets are precise and students can easily do them.
Have you ever been studying a topic and not been able to find anything to go along with. No lesson, no worksheets! Well, Super Teacher Worksheets solves that too. They have a worksheet generator!!!
You can create word searches, fill-in-the blanks, matching, multiple choice, and crossword puzzles, You can create all kinds of math worksheets too. This was extremely handy when I decided to switch Therese's math program a few weeks into school. While we waited for her new books to arrive, I created a few sheets for her to do to keep her focused on math. They even have fun pages you can create like Bingo cards, flashcards, and a calendar.
Super Teacher Worksheets has a teachers resource section too. I didn't use any of the resources, but they look great for a teacher or a co-op leader. Now that my religious education classes are starting up, I will be heading back into that section to see all that they have. I remember an award section. It would be great to print out an award for the kids when they learn all their prayers this year.
